The smoke that seen over Methodist Mountain is from a fire near the Ox Cart Ranch in the San Luis Valley. The fire has been burning now for several days. There is no danger to Chaffee County at this time. The Forest Service is on scene and working the fire. You will be notified if the conditions change and if the fire were to get closer to Chaffee County.
